Original Ghettos

The original ghettos were a little different from the ghettos we know today. They were occupied by Jewish people and a way for German’s to keep control over Jewish people. The Jews who were soon after enslaved and placed on concentration camps started off in these places. This is interesting to look into. It is hard not to draw a correlation to the black dominated ghettos we know today. It could be argued that blacks were pushed in these central areas for the same reasons the Jews were.
