I jam this song all the time lol. Definitely overlooked due to DAMN. Being so great and HUMBLE. Taking the US by a swarm. These 5 or so bars always stick out to me due to Kendrick kind of slamming cultural appropriators, putting blame on them for the reason why the world is hitting decline.

Cultural appropriation is such a touchy and finicky topic because every form of it is different. So many factor play into it. I know I have never like dabbed seriously because I did something cool. With an uprising and I hate myself for saying this but it is true, “meme culture” a lot of things are done ironically and jokingly. Like if I ever dab it’s as a joke not because I am trying to be a part of some dance culture.

Kendrick also expresses his distaste for Trump which is cool because that dude is an idiot.
