Starts at the beginning

I have said all this to say, it starts at the beginning. The way to uplift the race is to teach our children to value themselves. We as a race have the responsibility to teach children they are great just the way they are. We as women have the responsibility to lift up little girls and little boys no matter the skin tone You as men have the responsibility to teach boys to value all shades of black, and then go and set the example. This is the big mission. Many recognize the issue, but to recognize and not do is to not even recognize. It is important for blacks to educate other blacks and support people regardless of what type of black they are. This is, of course, easier said than done, but it is the way to make the difference within the race. Everyone has a platform to use. This includes your family, job and school. This can be done on social media as well. In general it is important to try as best as you can to uplift our people. Make children feel equal no matter the hair texture, skin color or face features. Be conscious of your thoughts, actions and words. This is the current cause to further the Black race.
